Meet some of the Characters and more.
This is where I draw and colour both my characters and the planets by the names I pick. Where I put my imagination to work by listening to music. I have made book trailers of my books.
King John Marage of Avaitopia
He was a farmer’s son but became the king when he married the beautiful princess, now Queen Vanessa of the hidden kingdom of Avaitopia. King John is a rat with a goofy nature, which makes him a lovable father. He is 45 years old.
Princess Laura Carlen van Noie (born Marage) of Avaitopia
Her real name is Carlen, but she prefers to be known by her second name, Laura. She is a half breed – her mother is a wolf and her father a rat. She married the Dorgan Prince, Nicolas van Noie, when she was 19. Now, at 21, she is soon to be a mother.
At the end of the story, Laura becomes the mother of eight children
Queen Vanessa Marage of Avaitopia
She is a wolf and very stubborn, just like her sister Irax. She is overprotective of Laura and Kayo, to the point of disappearing to protect them. Her eyes are lemon blue, identical to those of Irax who was kidnapped by a grodent at the age of eleven. Vanessa is 39 years old
Prince Kayo Marage of Avaitopia
The half-breed Prince Kayo did not know his mother Vanessa, who disappeared when he was very young, which made his sister Princess Laura highly protective of him. He is impulsive and lively. Kayo is 18 years old
Prince Walter Marage of Doran Island
The baby son of Prince Kayo and Princess Zonal of Dorgan Island at the end of the story
Uncle Loren Marage of Avaitopia
Loren is as cunning as he is evil! He forced the young Princess Irax to marry him, which is the reason for his banishment to the world outside Avaitopia. Ever since the birth of his nephew Kayo, Loren has been plotting his revenge against King John and Avaitopia. He is a rat, aged 45 years
Aunt Irax Marage of Avaitopia
Irax used to be kind, caring, loving and gentle, but also stubborn, just like her older sister Vanessa. Taken into captivity, she was later forced to marry Loren, the brutal, heartless twin brother of King John. A particularly nasty villain, Loren used a secret potion to control Irax and hide her good qualities. A few years after her marriage to Loren, she gave birth to a son, Devils. She is 38 years old
Devils Marage of Avaitopia
Denying any goodness from his mother, Devils follows in his evil father’s footsteps. He is a half-breed rat and wolf cub and prefers to help his father take over the Avaitopia kingdom than spend time with his mother. He is 18 years old, the same age as Kayo.
Cupid Bens, the royal adviser
He is hugely nervous, but also brave. A spectacle-wearing spaniel, there is a book under his right arm every time you see him. He has just become a father at 44 years old.
Mejia Bens
She is a spaniel and a teacher who gives birth to a baby boy during the course of the story. She teaches at University High School where she is given the nickname ‘Mrs. B’. She is kind to Prince Kayo. Mejia Bens is 40 years old.
Vincent Robert Bens
Even though he’s very cute, he can be a troublemaker! He is a spaniel pup and sleeps most of the day. Be careful not to wake him!
Dibs 'Izzabell and Caven 'T' Waterhorse, the hybrid twins
The sister and brother hybrid twins are a mix of rabbit and hyena and can leap over everything! They look alike but have different personalities. The twins lost their parents when they were only 13 years old. They lived alone until Mr and Mrs Bens took them in as their own. Dibs likes to spend time with her best friends, Princess Laura and Prince Kayo, while Caven likes to interact with his other friends. He and Kayo tend to annoy each other, which Dibs doesn’t
understand. The hybrid twins are 17 years old.
Ed Diamond, an Avaitopian citizen
Ed always has a few tricks up his sleeve. He is a master of thieving from Loren, who he worked for, which accounts for his nickname Criminaldarkness. He is a werehyena, although he can control this trait. The uncle of Dibs ‘Izzabel’ and Caven T. Waterhorse, Ed is aged 49 years
May Keys
May is Ed’s girlfriend. She is sweet and lovable with a tough exterior. She is a poodle, aged 48
years
Q, the Great Fox
Q is extremely wise and knows the ways of magic. He can sometimes be obstinate when he doesn’t get what he wants. A wizard and a fox, Q is aged 1760 years. His wife was an elf named Starlight who vanished hundreds of years ago
The van Noie family
King Jacksonville van Noie is a dragon. He is kind most of the time, but can be stubborn. He often used to fly outdoors with his wife, Emmalet, and his children, Nicolas and Zonal, until Emmalet disappeared. Since that day, he has kept to himself, mainly indoors. Jacksonville is aged 51 years.
Queen Emmalet van Noie is a snow leopard, aged 48 years. Sadly, she is not part of the story as no one knows what happened to her.
Prince Nicolas van Noie of Avaitopia/Dorgan Island:
He is a snow dragon who tries not to show that he finds his younger sister, Zonal, highly annoying. Nicolas was miserable, due to his mother’s disappearance and his father’s sadness at her loss, until he met Princess Laura. At first Nicolas kept the relationship secret because he felt guilty at being happy while his father grieved. Eventually he found the courage to tell his father, who gave his blessing to their marriage. Nicolas is aged 23 years.
Princess Zonal van Noie is a snow dragon, aged 15 years. She has a crush on Kayo, who is not interested in her. She is a chatterbox and can talk for hours. Much later in the story, Kayo and Zonal fall in love and in time become the proud parents of baby Walter.
